Our platform is built on the idea that a wealth of creations leads to the creation of wealth when collaboration, consistency, and opportunity are aligned. **Who is Medianaires for?** Medianaires is designed for photographers, videographers, editors, designers, and multimedia creators at all stages—from Apprentice to Elite—who seek structured growth, fair protection, and long-term financial opportunities. **Is Medianaires a gig platform?** No, Medianaires is not a race-to-the-bottom marketplace. We are a growth ecosystem that rewards professionalism, reliability, and collaboration.

To become a Medianaires creator, you need to go through an approval process based on the quality of your work, professional readiness, and adherence to our platform standards. Here's a step-by-step guide: 1. **Application Submission**: Complete a professional application that includes your services, experience level, tier preference, portfolio or work samples, client references, location, and links to your work. 2. **Requirements for Approval**: We look for a curated portfolio, relevant experience, reliability indicators (like references and repeat client work), and alignment with our platform standards. Not every applicant is approved. Some may be accepted with full access, placed in the Apprentice tier, waitlisted, or declined. 3. **Contract and W-9**: As an independent contractor, you'll need to submit a W-9 and agree to the Creator Agreement before payouts. 4. **Initial Review**: We review your application to ensure your services align with our platform, your work samples meet our quality standards, and your references verify your reliability and professionalism. 5. **Tier Placement**: If approved, you'll be placed in an initial tier (Apprentice, Semi-Pro, Pro, or Elite) based on your experience and portfolio strength. This tier determines your access level and growth path. 6. **Onboarding Requirements**: Before becoming active, you must complete your profile, upload portfolio content, agree to the Creator Agreement, submit a W-9, connect Stripe for payouts, and choose your membership status. 7. **Activation**: Once onboarding is complete, you'll be officially active on the platform and eligible to participate based on your tier and membership status. **How and when do creators get paid?** All client payments are held in escrow on the platform. Creators are paid twice per month, on the 1st and the 15th, for projects that have been completed and approved. **What happens before payment is released?** Creators deliver preview-only files within 72 hours of the shoot. Clients review the work and either approve it, request revisions, or raise concerns. Payment is released after approval, and full files unlock for download. **Are there membership fees?** Yes, memberships are optional. Every tier includes a free option with limited access and a paid membership that unlocks additional features, visibility, and earning opportunities. **What do memberships unlock?** Membership access varies by tier and may include project matching, reviews and ratings, points and tier advancement, internship credits, Medianaire mentorship, priority placement, access to higher-paying clients, assistant opportunities, and expanded collaboration tools. Memberships may also reduce platform fees and unlock additional earning advantages. **Is there a refund or dispute process?** Yes. Medianaires offers dispute mediation when platform rules are followed. To remain protected, all communication, file delivery, and payments must stay on the platform. **What are Merit Points?** Merit Points are your performance score. They determine tier upgrade eligibility and access to higher-paying projects over time. **How do I earn Merit Points?** You earn points for measurable performance, including on-time arrival, on-time delivery, strong client ratings, repeat clients, client referrals, clear in-platform communication, and solid teamwork on DreamTeam projects. **What causes Merit Point penalties?** Late delivery, no-shows or late arrival, missed deliverables, repeated complaints, and off-platform client communication. **Can I be removed from the platform?** Yes. Repeated low performance, policy violations, off-platform payment attempts, or consistent client issues can result in suspension or removal. **Can Merit Points increase high-paying opportunities?** Yes. Strong Merit Points can trigger a tier review and unlock access to higher-budget projects and higher rate ranges. Creators can also request a tier upgrade review at any time. Tier upgrades are earned through performance and client feedback.
